Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Ruben Caco Quartet, led by jazz drummer, composer, and arranger Ruben Caco. Enjoy soulful renditions of jazz and Latin jazz standards alongside original compositions, with rhythms that will have you moving to salsa, rumba, and everything in between. The interactive percussion workshop, led by Ruben Caco, explores how rhythm is part of our everyday lives. We will experience body percussion and learn Latin rhythms such as rumba clave, son clave, and guaguancó before the band demonstrates how these rhythms come to life in an ensemble.
