The Cultural Arts Center at Langston Hughes is a vibrant hub for artistic expression and community engagement, serving underrepresented communities. The Langston Hughes Community Library & Cultural Center boasts a diverse collection of over 400 artworks, including original pieces and donations. Highlights include paintings of Langston Hughes and James Baldwin, and bronze sculptures of Nikki Giovanni. The collection uniquely represents the African diaspora through fine art, wood carvings, masks, plaques, and statues from various African and Caribbean countries. The gallery also serves as a venue for local artists to exhibit their work.
