DESCRIPTION:The Langston Hughes Community Library and Cultural Center celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with cultural performances and cool activities.\n\n\nJoin us to kick off a month of family events that celebrate the histories\, cultures\, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Latin America with live performances\, arts & crafts\, readings\, giveaways\, trivia\, games\, and more! \n \n¡Únase a nosotros para iniciar un mes de eventos familiares que celebran las historias\, culturas y contribuciones de los ciudadanos estadounidenses cuyos antepasados ​​vinieron de América Latina con presentaciones en vivo\, artes y manualidades\, lecturas\, obsequios\, trivia\, juegos y más! \n \n This project is made possible by the Library Action Committee of Corona-East Elmhurst; a New York State Education Department Special Legislative Grant (Assemblywoman Larinda Hooks); with public funds from the Queens Arts Fund\, a re-grant program supported by New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by New York Foundation for the Arts; and with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program\, a program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature and administrated by Flushing Town Hall.
